Learning Objectives: Student Learning Outcomes 1. Understand the contributions of major classical theorists in sociology 2. Identify the strengths and limitations of each theory studied 3. Acquire a sense of how social theory has developed historically 4. Demonstrate the ability to evaluate and discuss theories critically 5. Understand how classical theory is applicable to contemporary society

Technical Requirements: This course will be taught synchronously online, meaning WE WILL MEET VIA ZOOM ON MWF from 9 a.m.-9:50 a.m. You must have reliable, stable internet connection. Attendance is expected and will factor into your final grade.
